Dr. Ellis is
a native of Johnson City and attended University High School.
He is a 1978 graduate of East Tennessee State University with
a degree in Microbiology. He graduated from the University of
Tennessee College of Dentistry in 1983. Dr. Ellis' goal is to
provide high quality dentistry with care and compassion.
Dr. Ellis is involved with the Keystone Dental Clinic serving the needy in our Region.
Dr. Ellis is an avid backpacker, and enjoys scuba diving and farming. He and his wife, Michelle, have two daughters, Rachel and Sarah.

Dr.
Mefford is a 2002 graduate of the University of Kentucky College
of Dentistry, and a 1997 graduate of Milligan College where
he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor
in chemistry. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky and lived
there until he moved to Johnson City to attend Milligan College,
It was while he attended Milligan College, that he met his wife,
Jamie.

Dr. Mefford has
a passion for delivering the best care possible and is committed
to treating our clients with the utmost care and compassion.
Dr. Mefford has attended numerous continuous education courses
devoted to general dentistry, and more specifically, cosmetic
dentistry. He is a member of the AACD and the ADA professionally
and is involved with community organizations as well. When he
is not working, he enjoys outdoor hobbies such as bicycling,
motorcycles and hiking.

Charlotte
Charlotte,
one of our front office staff,
has been with us since 1991. She is
formerly from Florida. Charlotte is
married and has two children. She enjoys camping
and sewing.

Amber
Amber, one of our front office staff, has been with us since 2003. While originally from Johnson City, she has lived in Jonesborough, TN for the past 19 years. Amber is married and has one daughter and one son. She enjoys spending time with family and loves being outdoors. |

Debbie
Debbie, one of our Dental Hygienists, is from Kentucky ("Go Big Blue!") She has been a part of our staff since 1994. Debbie is married, and has 2 boys.
Holly
Holly, one of our Dental Hygienists is from Piney Flats, TN. She is married, and has one daughter. Holly has been on our staff since 1991.
She enjoys biking and is an antique collector.
Beth
Beth, originally from Kentucky, has been in the Johnson City area for over 10 years. She is married with 2 children and enjoys cooking, reading & antiques.
Sherry
Sherry is from Piney Flats, TN. She is married and has been part of our staff for 3 years. She graduated from ETSU - A.A.S. - Dental Hygiene program in 1996 and ETSU - MSAH - Allied Health in 2009. Her interests include her dogs, cooking, photography and teaching.
Laura
Laura is married with 3 grown sons and 1 granddaughter. She enjoys gourmet cooking, gardening, and
recently
finished her masters of science in allied health. She has been a practicing hygienist for over 20 years and enjoys it today as much as she did the first day. She loves the one-on-one interaction with patients. She has been with Drs. Ellis & Mefford since 2007. |

Lisa
Lisa is one of our Certified Dental Assistants. She has been on our staff since 1998. She is a native of Johnson City, TN. She is married, and enjoys biking, camping, running, gardening , reading and knitting. She also loves her new motorcycle.
Christi
Christi has been a dental assistant since 1989. She is a native of Blountville, TN. She enjoys reading and spending time with her 2 daughters.
Charley
Charley, our newest Dental Assistant, is from Butler, TN. She started at our office in September 2006. In her spare time, she enjoys shopping, clogging, and spending time with her family and friends.
Rosa
Rosa, Our Office Coordinator has been
on our staff since 1987. She is from Carter County, TN. Rosa is married and has two daughters. She enjoys coaching her daughters softball teams and swimming.
Wendy
Wendy has been with Drs. Ellis & Mefford since September 2009. She is originally from Phoenix, Az. She is married and has 2 children and enjoys camping, running and spending time with family and friends.
